AUTOMATIC APPLICATION OF EMULSION
We use an automatic, PLC controlled coating machine to assure emulsion thickness repeatability from screen to screen that cannot be accomplished by any other method. Parameters, including number of coats, speed, dwell time and length of coating, have been set for the processing of all direct emulsion screens.
This machine's ability to coat both sides of the screen simultaneously-and to coat two screens at one time in the smaller frame sizes-increases productivity while reducing lead times. With its uniform coating pressure and precise coater movements, this machine provides excellent control of emulsion and is repeatable from screen to screen and within a screen to +/- one micron.
